How to get start from scratch to build this project?
How to connect with backend data?
The Next-Gen Treasure Hunt's goal is to attract more members to join and shop at the Club. We plan to use Virtual reality-like technology to enable online users/potential customers ( mobile-web / pc) to have an in-club member digital experience. We are enabling a digital-to-physical experience for online users and potential customers, in doing so, providing an exceptional experience that encourages them to become our members.
How VR Technology improves online shopping experiences?
VR lets customers take their shopping experience outside of the store, and VR experience is an extension of online shopping.
Example in life:
Alibaba has already embraced the concept, introducing the idea recently for "Singles Day." Shoppers could explore a virtual store, picking up and examining items in 3D before deciding to purchase them with just a look. South Korea has VR gym clothes shopping store and other VR in-store shopping experiences.

Korea Gym Clothes - VR store
CD/Video VR Store
With over half of people suggesting that VR would change the way they shop, it seems the idea has a promising future in the world of retail.
VR tech has a vast audience that can't be ignored. It gives you a unique selling point that other competitors may be slow to adopt.

Aligning Needs and Feature Grouping
Discussing with the product manager and aligning user needs and business goals, I did a feature grouping to guide me through the final design solution.
After all the conversations with stakeholders, I started from these points:
Which platform is better for customers(member + potential member)?
VR exploration needs more equipment (Oculus, HoloLens, or HTC Vive). However, the popularity is not high enough compared with mobile and PC.
I decided to make a VR-like first-person view exploration experience available for everyone online to engage in. At the inception phase, the customer(or player) chooses exploration products (in the future: promotion ). It indicates to the customer to get products on the list during a mini hunt, redeem with QR code ( generate code from backend system), check out, and complete the process.
The main goal is to encourage customers(or players) to become our members.
Platform: Mobile web and PC
Content: More 3D and virtual
Mimic The Store
Offering "exploration/promotion" products to select
Loading checklist and "store" mini-map to leading customers to explore
Following the sign to get all products and show detailed information regarding the goods
After all the exploration, customer can input their membership ID, email, or save the QR code
Backend system will also verify wrong/invalid member information and respond to the error message
The backend system will verify all members information and responding to the member
OR customers/members only need to save the code on computer/mobile to redeem in-store to get all the discount
It's not a complete product, and it may not have done an excellent job in many details, but the overall process of the MVP product can form a business loop, meet the core needs of users, and be quickly put to market for verification. Can use this new type to attract more potential customers, new and old members can explore, and a unique possibility to keep the member retention rate.
