Hackathon Project at Sam's Club e-commerce

How to Using AR technology will help merchants and retailers reduce the return rate,
Improve customer experience,
Increase customer stickiness.
I did a qualitative observation study at the beginning of the project. I noticed that customers visited the jewelry and watch sections about every 15 minutes during my shopping. But associates were not stationed in the area for the entire time. Brand owners generally arrange electronic rooms to put specialized personnel stationed and answering. Therefore, when customers stop by the site and want to see a piece of jewelry, they need to wait or look for an associate to get help throughout the store. The time to wait is usually less than 5 minutes if the employee is not very busy.
In addition, I interviewed a couple of colleagues, managers, and friends who go shopping at Sam's Club, and they also gave me some ideas and suggestions:
1. Interested in AR technology
2. Supporting in-store and being at home
3. Reduce return rate
Many products can implement AR functions. Considering the hackathon duration, it can create a complete AR system in later development. To show the effect of AR products, I narrow down my priorities to develop. So, I made a short demo that focused on the watch products.
